What's the difference between hybrid and volume set?

Hybrid extensions offer a variety of textures and more volume, but without the sometimes unnatural look of voluminous lashes. For customers who want an eyelash line with a little more volume but not as complete as volume extensions, this is the style to choose. What are hybrid lashes? Hybrid lashes are a mix of 70 to 30 classic lashes and voluminous lashes. Choosing hybrid extensions offers your customers the best of both worlds.

The look is achieved by mixing classic eyelashes and voluminous lashes that are strategically placed to frame the eyes. For customers who want an eyelash line with a little more volume but not as complete as volume extensions, this technique will provide the perfect balance. Hybrid eyelash extensions, also fondly known as “Light Volume”, are exactly what they sound like. Mixture (or hybrid) of two styles.

More specifically, hybrid eyelash extensions are a mix of classic lashes and voluminous lashes. It's very harmful to natural eyelashes because of how heavy they are (they take too many at a time and aren't strategically manufactured for the person you're working on) and you don't have to pay volume prices for it. Voluminous eyelashes require a higher level of skill and a greater investment of time on the part of the technician, since they make the fans by hand beforehand. This is most of what I do, but from time to time I'll have a client who simply wants the thickest eyelashes possible, so Russian Volume is the technique used.

The image below shows more fans of volume than the classic one, which extends 2 to 3 mm beyond their natural eyelashes. They are natural for those who don't want to have a bold look, whose voluminous eyelashes give a voluminous look, allowing customers to have an eyeliner look or a more dramatic look. This style is perfect for people who want a more complete look than the classic ones, but aren't completely convinced by the bold, dark look of voluminous eyelash extensions. But like classic lashes, these are the two details that differentiate voluminous lashes from other sets: their relative versatility and their specific thickness.

A volume set is a more advanced technique in which a range of multiple extensions is applied to each natural eyelash. Making volume series requires a considerable amount of skill and it's important that you find an experienced eyelash artist for it. But along with this useful application technique, voluminous eyelash sets actually benefit from their thickness.
